How to Prepare for your IME Appointment

We have provided the video below to help you prepare for your upcoming Independent Medical Examination (IME). The video will walk you through what to expect during your appointment and provide helpful information to make your experience as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Things to Remember:

  1. Wear comfortable clothings as you will undergo a physical exam during your appointment.

  2. Bring all imaging reports (X-rays, MRIs, or discs) and medical records you have on file.

  3. Confirm your appointment location the day prior to your appointment, and let us or your attorney know if you need to reschedule.

  4. As there may be a slight wait time, we recommend bringing a book or activity you can do before your scheduled appointment.

Need Help Finding Your Appointment Location?
Our physicians conduct Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) at multiple office and satellite locations. These satellite offices are the physicians’ regular practice locations and may be used for your examination based on the physician assigned to your case.

If you have any questions about where your appointment will take place, please call our main office at 502-554-9231 and we will be happy to confirm your correct location. Please verify your appointment address before the day of your appointment to ensure you have enough time to plan your travel.
